Made by Me Monday

Hey all,
How was your weekend?  Are your kids out of school yet?  Or are you still winding down the school year?

We finished up on Friday.  Noah went to school and had a short day.  He's very excited to be home for the summer and even wants to know exactly how many days we have.  We have a full summer planned so I know he's looking forward to visiting both sets of grandparents, taking swim lessons, and going to the beach.  We had Subway to celebrate the last day and it's good to not being rushing to school this morning.

It was drizzly rainy on Saturday.  The kids and I went to the library for a book sale.  We came home with a ton of books.  It's hard to say no when your kids just want a book.  But then the pile becomes... well, let's just say, we have plenty of reading material for the summer.

Noah and I did some scrapbooking that afternoon.  He has some pictures from our Disneyland trip and he's wanted to scrap with Mama.  So we had some Mama/Noah bonding time.  The rest of the weekend flew by.  Church on Sunday morning, winding down Sunday night.  The kids played most of the afternoon till we snuggled down with some good books before bed.

I played around with these little pretties.  Quick, easy, and pretty...  I kind of like it!
I'll have a tutorial up later this weeks so you can make one if you want too.

Here's what else is going on in our world:

Are we suppose to change what we make in the summer?

All I know is I'm in a rut. I just ordered some new cookbooks to see if I can jump start meal time.
