Made by Me Monday

Hey y'all,
How was your week?  Did you do anything fun this weekend?

We had a great week around here.  Kids kept us busy as always.  We spent most of Friday doing some much needed home projects.  The backyard got quite a bit of work done.  We love "living in" our backyard.  This time of year, it becomes quite an extention of our house.

Family rolled into town on Friday.  First my Mom and Grandma arrived around noon and Dave's parents got here late that night.  The kids love having them around.  Being the only grandkids so far, they definately soak up the attention.  And it's a nice break for Mommy and Daddy as well.

We had a five year old birthday party on Saturday.  There was about 9 kids here between 6 yrs and 14 months.  All church friends and family.  We invited some school friends that weren't able to make it.  But the church friends were a nice comfortable crowd as it's been the same "best friends" that we've had for the last 4 or 5 birthdays.

I had so much fun planning this party.  It was a Woody/cowboy party with loads of fun.  Since Noah was turning 5, we actually planned and played some games for a change.  I think it was just as much fun for me as it was for them.  And little Lydia stepped right up and played along with the big kids.  She was right in there.

I'll post more on the party later this week.  It was the funnest party to date and I'm loving that the kids are getting bigger and able to do some of this stuff.

So show us those projects.  Write a blog post highlighting your project with a link back so that others can join in on the fun.  Then link up below to the blog post itself.  You can post more than one project; just add more than one link.  I'll be picking one of your projects to highlight next week.  So start linking up!
