31 Days of Autumn Inspiration: Apple Cranberry Slaw

Recently, I was planning our dinner menu for the week and wanted to do something different.
We love salad in our house, but I was looking for something special,
something unexpected and seasonal.

But what was it?

So we came up with this seasonal slaw to serve as a side dish.
Take a bag of broccoli slaw and mix with a basic mayo, vinegar, and sugar dressing.
Then add crumbled bacon, dried cranberries, and diced apples.

The fruit gives the slaw a sweet, fall flavor
and the bacon adds just a touch of salt to balance it.

This has become a quick and easy favorite in our house.

What new flavors are you discovering?
