Hey, how was your weekend?  Much going on in your neck of the woods?

Our weekend was wonderful.  I awoke Saturday morning to the calm sounds of rain.  Rain!  I know this isn't huge news for some of you, but I live in a very hot part of Northern California.  So hot in fact that it's been over 100 degrees the entire past week.  And rain!  Oh, it was fantastic.

The kids got up, dressed, and ran outside to play in the puddles.  The rain was light so it took awhile to gather in the puddles, but once they had a couple, the jumping began.  So puddle jumping and mud pie making insued.  The kids played so hard in fact that my four year old actually took a nap.  Oh, it was a glorious day!

The rain cleared up for a fun Dora party Saturday night and church the next day.  A little yard work, a little reading, and lots of family time.  It really was a great way to spend the weekend together.

I'm working on a lunch/sandwich post for later in the week.  So stay tuned.  This one just bumped to the top of my list.  We loved it!
