There's nothing like the sweet tartness of lemons. And when the weather heats up, this icy treat is the perfect compliment at the end of a meal. For July's DIY project, we made Lemon Ice: cool, refreshing, and yummy. Hope you enjoy it too!
Lemon Ice

3 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 c. lemon juice
1 Tbsp lemon zest
1. Mix water and sugar in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Boil uncovered, stirring steadily, until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and zest.
2. Pour into 9 x 13 pan. Freeze for 1 hr and stir. Freeze overnight
3. Serve with fresh berries.
