31 Days of Autumn Inspiration: Bat Handprint Craft

This is a super fun and very easy craft to do with your kids.  All you need is some black paint, a paint brush, black construction paper, scissors, crayons, and one more piece of paper.

First brush black paint on your child's hands and press them onto a piece of construction paper.  Allow that to dry.

While you're waiting for the paint to dry, draw and cut out a bat head from black construction paper.  White or yellow crayon will show up well.    You can cut out the bat or give your child some cutting practice and allow them to cut it out.

Once your paint is dry, glue the head in the middle of the handprints.  You can be as creative here as you want.  As you can see both of my children had different interpretations of what their bats should look like.

And there you have it.  An easy craft to do with your child near Halloween.  And I love these handprint crafts because they make great memorabilia for Mom and Dad or sent to Grandma.  Enjoy!
