Healthy Banana Splits

 photo IMG_4688_zpsa4brpyss.jpg

I love treating my kids to dessert now and then, but with sugar hidden in everything, it's hard to know how to present dessert in our house.  But recently we came up with a healthier alternative to banana splits.  Served after dinner one night, these have quickly become a fun way to end the day.

Healthy Banana Splits
(per person)

1 banana
1-2 jello cups
canned whip cream
sprinkles
1 marashino cherry

1. Run a knife along the jello in the cup to loosen.  Pop the jello out for your ice cream scoops.

2. Split a banana in half and lay around the jello.

3. Top with whipped cream, sprinkles, and cherry.

4. Try to stop at one!
