Peppermint Play-Dough

I love how inexpensive and easy homemade play-dough is.  And during the holidays, I love playing with new varieties of this childhood treat.  This peppermint scented play-dough is perfect for Christmas and we've been enjoying it already.

Don't be intimidated by the cooking time.  I used to worry that I'd burn it or my pans would never be the same.  But it's a fool proof recipe that is easy to make.

Bonus: Play-dough's a great activity for the kids to do while you're making dinner, on the phone, or just trying to capture a few moments of peace and quiet.  And it's occasionally fun for mom, too.
